Black@Pivotal is an employee resource group, whose charter is to develop a thriving culture for employees who identify themselves as "black". The group also includes allies who are not black but support the vision and mission. This past week, members of Black@Pivotal from around the globe gathered in Washington DC to focus on professional development, team building and refining the group’s future mission/vision. Highlights include a robust discussion on Diversity and Inclusion in a roundtable with executive leadership and a visit to the National Museum of African American History and Culture. The summit culminated with a day volunteering with Black Girls Code, leading coding workshops for 100 girls in the DC metro area.
