Amazon ships EKS, Microsoft ships AKS. Cloud providers [heart] Kubernetes. Different offerings from each, though.
"The Full Time Job of Keeping up with Kubernetes." tl;dr: it'll probably be OK.
Update on kubernetes/container market-sizing: "According to predictions from 451 Research, the market is set to grow from $762 million in 2016 to $2.7 billion by 2020." Also: “A Forrester study found that 66% of organizations who adopted containers experienced accelerated developers efficiency, while 75% of companies achieved a moderate to significant increase in application deployment speed.”
.NET Core 2.1 shipped, and Cloud Foundry buildpack updated. There’s no faster way to get patched, up to date app support than with buildpacks.
Rackspace Launches Colocation Services to Support Enterprises with Digital Transformation. Colo seems to be expanding during the cloud migration era. RAX takes advantage: "According to 451 Research, the colocation market will grow at a 12 percent compound annual growth rate through 2020."
