This session will review the efforts that took place in both the initial phases which incorporated targeted parts of the Spring Framework, as well as more current efforts that leveraged Spring projects such as Spring Boot, Spring Data and Spring Cloud. Highlighted throughout the talk will be examples demonstrating the pros and cons of various approaches taken, including the social engineering aspects of changing a movie making culture to fully embrace what it means to adopt a Microservices platform.
