Tracker Secrets: Adding a Story to an epic

November 24, 2014 Tami Reiss

Four ways (that I know of, but there maybe more) to add a story to an epic:
1) Add the epic label to the story. (Got to go to with the easy one first, right?)
2) Be on the specific epic panel (by clicking the > on the individual epic) and click “+” on the top right. The new story will automagically have the epic label.
3) Create an epic and associate it to a label which the story was already tagged with. The green label will turn purple, it’s pretty cool.
4) Drag and drop the story onto the individual epic on the epic panel. (Learned this one today, which inspired this post.)

Also, did you know you can tag a story with multiple epic labels? I’ve only needed to do this a few times, but it’s pretty sweet to know you can.
