EMC World is coming May 5-8 to the Venetian in Las Vegas, Nevada. A huge industry conference on its own, next week will also be an important week to showcase the efforts of the members of the Federation, which includes EMC II, RSA, VMware as well as Pivotal. Often referred to as the EMC Federation, this group of closely related companies will be showcasing our collective progress toward providing solutions and choice for the software-defined enterprise and the emerging “3rd platform” of mobile, cloud, big data and social.
As a premier member in this Federation, Pivotal will have a strong presence at the event, including a keynote, several announcements, 7 breakout sessions repeated twice each, 5 demos across the Pivotal booth as well as the Federation booth on the show floor, co-hosting tours of the world’s largest Hadoop cluster with partner Mellanox, ample customer meetings with key executives and product leaders, as well as media and investor relations briefings.
