GroupMe for BlackBerry, collaborated with Xtreme Labs, won the Breakout Digital Trend Award at the South by Southwest Interactive Awards.
South by Southwest (SXSW) conference was the largest it has ever been with over 20,000 attendees. Group messaging apps overall have been very popular this year, but GroupMe came out on top amongst all its competitors.
