As cloud computing, mobile, and internet of things technologies impact industries on a global scale, the Cloud Foundry Summit is coming to Europe for the first time. Taking place in Berlin on November 2 and 3, 2015, the event is directed to Cloud Foundry experts and novices alike, as well as industry leaders looking to share how Cloud Foundry has transformed their businesses. Following the Cloud Foundry Summit North America, which brought together 1500 developers, operators, and managers, the first Cloud Foundry Summit Europe is expected to net over 600 attendees.
Leading topics at this year’s Cloud Foundry Summit North America included how enterprises are managing a transformation to cloud-native technologies, Diego, the rewrite of the Cloud Foundry runtime, microservices, and more. The Cloud Foundry Summit Europe will also explore these topics through keynote presentations, technical sessions, and hands-on training opportunities.
Hosted by SAP and sponsored by Pivotal, EMC, and HP, among others, the two day event will be held at the Andel’s Hotel in Berlin, Germany on November 2 and 3, 2015. A diversity scholarship is available for underrepresented and/or marginalized persons who may not be able to attend for financial reasons, while a diversity lunch hosted by CloudCredo and IBM will explore issues of representation within the technology industry.
In addition, a Cloud Foundry unconference will take place the day before the event, on Sunday, November 1st at Andel’s Hotel. The free-form event will invite attendees to discuss and brainstorm ways to expand the Cloud Foundry ecosystem to best serve the growing number of users and use cases for the platform.
Pivotal will be demonstrating its Cloud Foundry-based cloud native platform and related technologies on the show floor at booth #13, and during the following presentations and sessions featuring Pivotal team members and customers:
